“You can’t be a hero if you only care about yourself”- The LEGO Batman Movie (2017)

COVID-19 is, like, everywhere!

I bet you’d agree with me: Everyone is talking about COVID-19. It is scary: the U.S now has the biggest number of confirmed cases and deaths globally (Elflein 2020). Stay home, stay safe, right? But there are so few things to entertain at home! Play some video games or binge watch sitcoms? I mean, come on, we all know it gets boring.

Instead of waiting for this pandemic to pass, what do you think of actively fighting against it?

We are now all in a fight with this fatal virus, but not everyone is aware of it. They do not accept wearing masks despite the fact that this invisible virus has caused around 930 million deaths all over the world (Worldometer 2020). Mask on, people! Come on!

...BY CREATING YOUR OWN!

Seems like a call for a hero. Have you ever thought of being one? Instead of just trying to entertain yourself at home, be a part of the fight by creating heartening messages to anyone who needs them with LEGO. Inspire others to stay home and healthy, just like you are. Encourage others to be a hero like you!

It is our job to build the world, and at this time, we do it with LEGO bricks. Build a world with residents who are aware of how important protecting people from Coronavirus is, then share with everyone on social media! You might want to make it easier for us and others to find your work with hashtags #LegoHero #LegoFightsCorona.

One good act will cause others. The world needs you, heroes!
